Dr. Jenny Lopez is the originator of the Human Right Global Initiative: Women Add Value

Jenny Lopez

Jenny Lopez

She is committed to teaching women to value their contribution and realize their talent and skills, as well as mentoring them in launching social impact projects.

In this episode, Jenny shares her experiences in traveling to El Salvador, where women have traditionally been devalued and ignored, both by society, but also by themselves.  She and her team of volunteers have visited there 5 times in the past year, awarding women for their contribution to their community, and encouraging them to step up and take their place in the world.  Jenny and her team are making a significant difference on a grassroots level, as well as meeting with government officials, transforming their perspective towards the women in their country.

Based on Dr. Lopez’s personal story as well as her humanitarian experiences, we  explore global trends, the principle of honor, and discuss how our value as people (men and women) cannot be increased or decreased based on moral, religious, or cultural factors, nor by the choices we make in life or the outcomes we face as a result.
