Richard Brocchini is a best selling and award-winning author in the areas of leadership and customer service.
He is also the founder and CEO of Third Alarm Coffee & Tea, a company that has a strong purpose beyond profit helping firefighters affected by cancer.
Richard has served over 20 years in the fire service and currently holds the rank of battalion chief for the fire department. He is also the co-host of the Epic Mastermind Experience, the Leadership Thinker Podcast, and is a successful real estate investor. Richard believes that giving back is essential and is also a board advisor for two national non-profit organizations.
As a fire chief officer Richard brings a critical thinking background of making life and death decisions in a matter of seconds that will determine success because failure is not an option. Success with these types of decisions is accomplished with a highly trained team working in harmony, and he lives this philosophy in every aspect of his business life, surrounded himself with people who, in his own words, “are smarter than him”.
Despite the many ways he serves his community, Richard’s wife and children come first. During this interview, he shares how he balances his priorities, while building a 3rd generation legacy that will live on long after him.
Smart, articulate and thoughtful, Richard shares the principles he lives by, the power of association, how to surround yourself with the right people (and say ‘no’ to the wrong people), give back to your community in simple ways, and how to fail your way to the top.
